Matthew 6: 7-15

And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Pray then like this:

“Our Father in heaven,

hallowed be your name.

Your kingdom come,

your will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

and forgive us our debts,

as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

What touched my Soul

The Lord‘s prayer is the most beautiful prayer ever said.

what really touches me is this is a prayer Jesus himself taught us.

it is the path to talk to God. and how beautiful it is

“Our Father in heaven..”

All prayer is beautiful and every sentence have a beautiful meaning. We learn a lot about how God want us to be. Although I‘m particularly touched by the first sentence.

“Our Father in heaven..”

With this prayer we call God, Father.

a father always wants what is better for their children. Even us sinful people want the best for our children, cannot imagine the size of God’s love for us.

That assures me that he will always be on our side, even when we misbehave. He will always be by our side when we go against his commandments. Because we sinful man are always on our children side.

I’m not saying we sinners are an example to follow. On the contrary, if ven us that are dust, do whatever we believe is the best for our children, can you imagine what God is willing to do for us?
