Matthew 8:23-27

23And when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him. 24And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep. 25And they went and woke him, saying, "Save, Lord; we are perishing." 26And he said to them, "Why are you afraid, O men of little faith?" Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. 27And the men marveled, saying, "What sort of man is this, that even winds and sea obey him?"

What touched my Soul

“Why are you afraid, O men of little faith?"

Faith. Men of little faith.

This is what Jesus call to the disciples.

What Jesus expect from us his that we have faith in Him.

With Him on our side we must not be affraid. We must have faith.

”Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me” (psalm 23)

We shall not fear, Jesus is by our side. We must trust and have faith even when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death.

Lord help us trust you

Lord I believe help my unbelief
