Mark, 10: 13-16

And they were bringing children to him, that he might touch them; and the disciples rebuked them. 14But when Jesus saw it he was indignant, and said to them, "Let the children come to me, do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of God. 15Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it." 16And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands upon them.

What touched my soul

The kingdom of God, Jesus say, is truely available to a child.

This words always were enigmatic to me .

How come a child understand God to enter His kingdom?

Looking at my children I can see generosity, kindness, strong will to learn , free love, passion on the everything they do, pure and open heart and many other things that we learn to loose along our journey through life towards adult.

Maybe Jesus just want us to be all these things. Learning from him with a pure and open heart. Follow him with faith.

Maybe Jesus doesn't want us to understand at all.

Maybe Jesus only want us to trust and follow him like a child follow his father.
